“Tubérculo Gourmet” ha recaudado más de 46 millones de pesos
Santo Domingo.- La película dominicana “Tubérculo Gourmet”, que protagonizan Raymond Pozo y Miguel Céspedes, ha recaudado al menos 46 millones, según informó su director Archie López.
Sin embargo, dijo que la inversión en una producción cinematográfica es millonaria, lo cual involucra gastos en la campaña publicitaria, el pago a los actores y empleados extras; gastos extras como vestuarios, locación, combustibles, hospedaje en hoteles, entre otros gastos.
“Se ha organizado, antes le pagabas a una gente 200 pesos ahí, ahora no, ahora lleva sus impuestos y todo lo demás, o sea, que eso se fiscaliza. Antes no era una industria organizada, ahora se ha organizado y genera más beneficios”, indica al hacer alusión a la Ley para el Fomento de la Actividad Cinematográfica en la República Dominicana o Ley de Cine.
Dinamismo en diciembre
Manifestó que durante el rodaje de “Tubérculo Gourmet” invirtieron en Monte Plata alrededor de 10 millones de pesos, de los 56 que costó la película, aportados por inversionistas y la Ley de Cine. Detalló que de lo recaudado, Cine se queda con el 50%, 30% se va en la inversión publicitaria, y que luego de haber pagado eso, es que se va a obtener la ganancia.
Dijo que a diario acuden al menos siete mil a ocho mil personas a las salas de cines para ver la el filme, que cuenta con el guión de Víctor Reyes.
“Ayer (domingo) fueron 13 mil y pico de personas, un domingo, cuando después de tres semanas eso no existe. El viernes fueron nueve mil personas”, detalló el director de cine.
López dijo esperar que en este mes de diciembre aumente la asistencia de público, debido a que la economía se dinamiza, los niños están de vacaciones y los dominicanos ausentes regresan al país.
Pese al éxito en taquillas que ha tenido “Tubérculo Gourmet”, López está consciente de que eso no determina que será la mejor, o con mayor número de preseas en una premiación.
Estos detalles fueron ofrecidos por López durante un encuentro que sostuvo con miembros de la prensa, como una manera de acercarse más a los que han reproducido información sobre sus trabajos.
Una cinta ideal en la temporada navideña
Raymond y Miguel reiteran sentirse agradecidos por el gran respaldo que han recibido de los medios de comunicación y del pueblo dominicano. “Lo mejor de todo es que la gente sale del cine feliz e incluso sorprendida por una historia que, aunque es una comedia, habla de autenticidad, de solidaridad, de perdón, de alegría”, comentan los actores, quienes aprovechan para señalar que aunque no fue algo planificado, la historia que se cuenta en “Tubérculo Gourmet” ha resultado ideal para compartir en esta temporada navideña.
