Se agudiza la lucha entre peledeístas de SDN

Las supuestas irregularidades acaecidas en el transcurrir de la convención peledeísta en el municipio Santo Domingo Norte, han agudizado las diferencias entre los dirigentes de esa organización en la demarcación.
A pocas horas de concluidas las votaciones internas de Partido de la Liberación Dominicana, el pasado 13 de diciembre, tres de los cuatros precandidatos a la alcaldía del municipio Santo Domingo Norte impugnaron los comicios alegando una serie de irregularidades en el proceso, a estos les acompañaron diversos precandidatos a diputados y más de 20 a regidores; lo mismo hizo uno de los precandidatos a directores del Distrito Municipal de La Victoria.
En un acto público los inconformes denunciaron que hay un miembro del Comité Político del PLD, quien además es funcionario del gobierno que ha invertido más de 200 millones de pesos en la precandidatura de uno de los que se presume ganador del proceso. Resaltan que el miembro del CP quiere utilizar la plataforma de SDN para su futuro proyecto presidencial.
Además acusan a la presidenta del municipio Santo Domingo Norte, quien es miembro del Comité Central del PLD y funcionaria del gobierno de maniobrar para manipular el proceso.
Lidio Cadet, presidente de la Comisión Nacional Electoral del PLD, tras más de 10 días de espera, anunció recientemente que el Comité Político de ese partido es quien tendrá que decidir en torno a la candidatura a la alcaldía del municipio Santo Domingo Norte, no sin antes precisar que hasta el momento han sido computados el 70% de los votos y que los mismos dan un margen bastante amplio a uno de los cuatro precandidatos.
Hay que destacar que una de las principales quejas de los precandidatos inconformes es que en la mayoría de los recintos no se pudo ejercer el sufragio.
La situación que en estos momentos vive el PLD en Santo Domingo Norte, trae por los moños lo sucedido en el año 2010 que luego de ser declarada Leddys Vásquez candidata a la alcaldía de ese municipio la cúpula de ese partido no pudo cohesionar el liderazgo local alrededor de la candidata lo que devino en su derrota.
En la actualidad son cuatro los aspirantes a representar al PLD en la boleta municipal, René Polanco, Jesús Feliz, Carlos Guzmán y William Castillo.
René Polanco, actualmente es diputado ante el Congreso Nacional, es el único de los precandidatos que públicamente ha sido apoyado por un miembro del Comité Político y funcionario del gobierno, Simón Lizardo, quien está considerado como uno de los principales colaboradores del presidente Danilo Medina.
Entre los cuadros peledeistas impera la percepción que en los actuales momentos René Polanco es uno de los dirigentes que está más cercano al poder, lo que le ha agenciado un gran respaldo de los dirigentes peledeistas en busca de un intermediario entre ellos y los sectores palaciegos.
A esto hay que agregar que cuenta con el respaldo de la presidenta del municipio, Leddys Vásquez, quien es miembro del Comité Central y está al frente de una cartera gubernamental, hay que destacar que Vásquez está considerada como la cabeza del equipo político del ex presidente Leonel Fernández en la demarcación.
Jesús Feliz, fue alcalde en el periodo 2006-2010, estaba considerado como la cabeza del danilismo en el municipio Santo Domingo Norte hasta el punto que muchos aseguran que su fidelidad le costó la alcaldía en el 2010.
Tras la asunción de Danilo medina al poder, muchos se quedaron esperando su designación al frente de un ministerio o una dirección, en cambio fue nombrado como viceministro de Hacienda.
Carlos Guzmán, actualmente comparte curul en el congreso con René Polanco, ha ganado fama por la gran popularidad que tiene en el sector de Guaricano donde es considerado como la principal figura política de esa demarcación.
Whilian Castillo, se autodenomina dirigente comunitario, fue candidato a síndico del BIS de Peña Guaba en el 2006, en el 2010 apoyó al candidato a la alcaldía perredeísta Francisco Fernández, por lo que fue designado como encargado de asuntos internacionales del ayuntamiento y en las elecciones presidenciales de 2012 respaldó al Bloque Progresista a través del PQDC de Elías Wessín Chávez,
Castillo ha asumido la vocería de los precandidatos inconformes, lo que le ha dado un rango de principalía en el último tramo del proceso.
“La papa caliente” la tiene el Comité Político, quien tiene que dar solución a una situación que podría provocar el desmembramiento del PLD en la zona, mientras todo esto sucede el PRM todavía no ha escogido su candidato a la alcaldía y todo luce indicar que este podría sacar la mayor partida al proceso.
