Santo Domingo.- La diputada por el Partido Revolucionario Moderno (PRM), Faride Raful, planteó la eliminación de instituciones con duplicidad de funciones en el Estado dominicano.
Raful señaló que la Oficina Supervisora de Obras del Estado (OISOE) y los Comedores Económicos, instituciones que en conjunto reciben más de RD$2 mil 535 millones cada año, desarrollan funciones similares a otros organismos del Estado.
La legisladora expresó que ambas entidades, junto a otras 55 instituciones fueron creadas para satisfacer las necesidades políticas de los gobiernos de turno.
Detalló que esta es una de las causas que motivaron el incremento en un cien por ciento la cantidad de empleados públicos, que pasó de 300 mil en el 2004 a 600 mil en el 2018.
De igual forma, dijo que el Instituto Nacional del Azúcar debe desaparecer, así como ingresar al Ministerio de Agricultura otras doce instituciones afines.
En ese sentido, el Ministro de Administración Pública, Ramón Ventura Camejo, expuso que se hace un levantamiento para determinar cuáles son las instituciones del Estado que tienen duplicidad funciones a fin de buscar una solución conjunta.
