Los 40 puntos de Danilo

No digo que Danilo Medina tenga 40 puntos. No. Peor aún. Digo que ha bajado 40 puntos en las encuestas, que ahora no cree.
Los funcionarios y sus bocinas decían que el presidente Medina tenía 80 %; algunos gritaban 90% y hasta más.
El Primer Ministro José Ramón Peralta aseguró que su pupilo tenía un 75%, que de cada 4 ciudadanos 3 estaban con la reelección. Otro Ministro habló de unas elecciones solo para llenar requisitos y cumplir con la Constitución.
Más de 4 mil bocinas al unísono, en televisión, radio, periódicos impresos y digitales, decían lo mismo: “Danilo es un atraco”, “un rodillo”, “una roca”, “no pierde de nadie”.
Aseguraban, también al unísono, que el principal candidato de la oposición, Luís Abinader “no arranca”, es “una tayota”, un “merengue sin letra”, “ no va para ningún lado”, “es un muerto”, “no saca una gata a mear”, etc., etc., etc. (9 mil millones de pesos se gastaron en esa “campañita” a favor de Danilo y en contra de Luís)
De repente las cosas comenzaron a cambiar. La percepción varió drásticamente y con ella la popularidad del presidente, bajando de un 90 a un 80, 70, 60, 50, hasta llegar donde está hoy; entre 45 y 40 %.
Fue entonces cuando desaparecieron las encuestas maquilladas en oficinas palaciegas. Los hechos eran irrebatibles. Danilo parecía un caballo desbocado en su rodada mientras Luís Abinader subía lenta, pero sostenidamente. (Ya algunos hablan de “una segunda vuelta”. Yo hablo de “una primera vuelta” si las cosas siguen como van)
El de Danilo es un carro sin freno que choca constantemente con la pared de la corrupción que patrocina y estimula; entra al callejón sin salida de la mafia de la justicia; se vuelca en cada esquina donde la miseria del pueblo es palpable; se precipita ante la incompetencia para resolver el problema de la delincuencia, la criminalidad y la seguridad ciudadana. Tanto ha chocado el carro de la reelección que se ha convertido en una chatarra.
Luis, en cambio, conduce el tren del cambio y la esperanza, de la dignidad y el decoro. Los vagones de ese tren se han ido llenando en cada estación con pasajeros de otras fuerzas políticas, con intelectuales, profesionales, empleados públicos y privados, obreros, campesinos y amas de casa formando una fuerza electoral poderosa capaz de imponerse limpiamente en las elecciones del año próximo.
La reelección va camino al fracaso. Ya hay mucha preocupación entre ministros, viceministros, embajadores, cónsules, periodistas, bocinas que hacen de analistas, intelectuales que hacen de bocinas, tránsfugas, mercenarios y mendigos de la política que temen no puedan reelegir la corrupción y la impunidad.
Si la reelección tenía un 90% y hoy apenas un 40, ha descendido 50 puntos. Si cuenta con un 45, ha bajado 45. Como quiera que lo veamos, Danilo está jodido. Y eso no es nada. Según los “matatanes” en campañas electorales, seguirá bajando haga lo que haga y diga lo que diga. ¡El pueblo está “jarto” del PLD!
El voto castigo, bien merecido, fruto de toma de conciencia de los ciudadanos será determinante el 16 de mayo, porque de verdad: ¡La gente está “jarta” de Danilo y del PLD!
